Best Buy, Target begin teasing Black Friday Deals

While Black Friday may be a couple of weeks away, several companies are getting a jump on the holiday shopping season releasing their planned deals now. On Tuesday both Target and Best Buy joined the fray, releasing their full Black Friday catalog on their respective websites.

As with holiday seasons past, electronics are a big feature in Black Friday sales. Both retailers are planning deep discounts on TVs, with Best Buy offering a 50-inch Panasonic LED HDTV for just $199.99 and Target charging $219.99 for a 39-inch Vizio LED HDTV, $130 off its usual price. As with other major deals, these two are "doorbusters" and are in-store only.

Both stores are also offering deep discounts on Beats headphones, Fitbit fitness trackers, iPads, including the new iPad Air 2, and individual Blu-rays and video games. The two retail giants will also be selling a PlayStation 4 bundled with Grand Theft Auto 5 and The Last of Us for $399.99.

Other notable deals from Target so far include an Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle (including the new Assassins Creed Unity as well as last year's Assassin's Creed Black Flag) with a $50 Target gift card for $329.99 as well as a Google Chromecast for $25.

In addition to the Panasonic TV deal, Best Buy has a few other notable deals including an 11.6-inch MacBook Air with 128 GB of storage for $779.99 ($120 off its usual price), a 4 GB Amazon Kindle for $49.99 ($30 off, though this is not the latest Kindle Voyage), and $100-$150 off of Microsoft Surface Pro 3s with at least 128 GB of storage.

While there is still some time before these deals go into effect, both Target and Best Buy have made their full catalogs available for your scouting on their respective sites. The stores will also be following the recent trend of opening Thanksgiving night, with Best Buy opening its doors at 5 PM local time and Target following at 6 PM local time. Best Buy however will close its stores at 1 AM local time to prepare for a reopening at 8 AM on Black Friday itself. It has also said that it will be doing separate "doorbusters" during each opening.
